DEPRESSION SYMPTOMS

Depression Symptoms can be obvious or well disguised – Doctors are inudated with patients who are not dealing with life and are often labelled as “depressed”. They might very well be, however they may simply be feeling flat or melancholic which does not necessarily mean you are depressed. Regardless, feeling down and out is never enjoyable and needs to be address as soon as possible.  Please do not pretend you are okay when you are not…. show your strength and be brave enough to be honest with yourself that you are not coping as well as you would like and that seeking professional support is a wonderful and powerful choice.   Taking medication is not the answer – seek to learn tools to overcome unwanted emotions and behaviours for long-term change.
